Senior Pastor:

Dr. Tommy Patterson has served as Senior Pastor of Maranatha Church of the Harvest since the church began in 1996.

At the age of four, Dr. Patterson was “preaching” to his two older sisters as he stood on a bucket in their backyard.   At that time, he “announced” that he was going to be a preacher and has never wavered from that declaration.   Dr. Patterson actually began preaching the Word of God when he was only fourteen years old.   He married his high school sweetheart, Janice, in 1968.   They have been married for 45 years and have three Daughters, three Sons-in-Law, and eight Grandchildren.   They began their first pastorate in 1970.   After more than forty years of faithfully leading and caring for others while serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in a Senior Pastoral role, Dr. Patterson earned his Doctorate in Theology from Tampa Bay Bible College in 2011.

Dr. Patterson’s dedication to continuously minister to individuals and families is further demonstrated as he facilitated the successful planting of two local churches.  Dr. Patterson has not only been actively involved in ministering to people locally, but he has also been instrumental in sowing the Word of God into the lives of others by teaching and training Biblical principles in Camp Meetings, Bible Colleges and Prophecy Seminars.   Dr. Patterson continues to be devoted to Missions, as he has actively been involved in the successful completion of numerous Mission projects in more than 110 countries of the World.   Currently, Dr. Patterson is leading his church family in their efforts to make monthly monetary contributions to the State of Israel (Genesis 12:3).

Dr. Patterson remains passionately dedicated and persistent in working daily to be a faithful “vessel” through which God can minister.   His ultimate goal continues to be to share God’s Word with others in order to see souls saved and added to the Kingdom of God (Mark 16:15).
